{"id":8350,"date":"2023-06-19T09:00:14","date_gmt":"2023-06-19T09:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/?p=8350"},"modified":"2023-07-05T09:32:04","modified_gmt":"2023-07-05T09:32:04","slug":"kaltura-essential-maintenance-july-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/2023\/06\/19\/kaltura-essential-maintenance-july-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Kaltura &#8211; Essential Maintenance Notification &#8211; 3rd to 5th July 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kaltura Essential Maintenance Complete<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>JULY 5, 2023<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaltura is now available again, following essential server maintenance that took place between 12:00 BST on Monday the 3rd of July and 12:00 BST on the Wednesday the 5th of July, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important changes to be aware of and actions to take<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022 New location for video.northampton.ac.uk<br><\/strong>Students and staff are no longer able to log in to video.northampton.ac.uk to access Kaltura MediaSpace.<br>The new address is: <a href=\"https:\/\/mymedia.northampton.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mymedia.northampton.ac.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022 Action needed to reconnect the Kaltura Capture recorder<br><\/strong>Please note that action is required by all students and staff to relink their Kaltura Capture recorder. See the following FAQ for more information: <a href=\"https:\/\/askus.northampton.ac.uk\/Learntech\/faq\/267897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How do I connect Kaltura Capture to MyMedia?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022 Videos temporarily not displaying the correct creation date<br><\/strong>Content uploaded to Kaltura prior to 12:00 BST on the 3rd of July will not currently display the correct creation date. However, all content creation dates will be restored in due course.<br>Content uploaded to Kaltura on or after the 5th of July will display the correct content creation date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kaltura \u2013 Essential Maintenance Notification \u2013 3rd to 5th July 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>JUNE 19, 2023<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essential maintenance will be taking place to the Kaltura system between 12:00 BST on Monday the 3rd of July and 12:00 BST on the Wednesday the 5th of July, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the maintenance window some aspects of the Kaltura system will be unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services not affected:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaltura media content embedded in NILE courses and elsewhere will continue to be available and will play as normal.
