{"id":5921,"date":"2016-11-02T16:06:17","date_gmt":"2016-11-02T16:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/?p=5921"},"modified":"2016-11-02T16:06:17","modified_gmt":"2016-11-02T16:06:17","slug":"blackboard-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/2016\/11\/02\/blackboard-tests\/","title":{"rendered":"Blackboard Tests"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To all NILE users, we are aware that there is an issue with the timer function in Blackboard Tests in NILE where a limited number of students are experiencing premature submission prior to end of the test: Blackboard are aware and are working on a fix.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the interim, where possible tutors are advised <em>not <\/em>to set the timer when setting up tests and where this is unavoidable, students are advised to use Google Chrome to minimise this occurrence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If students are still experiencing this problem, please get in touch with your tutor in the first instance. Tutors can refer to <a href=\"mailto:learntech@northampton.ac.uk\">learntech@northampton.ac.uk<\/a>.
