{"id":234,"date":"2011-05-03T04:44:49","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T04:44:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/?p=234"},"modified":"2011-05-03T04:44:49","modified_gmt":"2011-05-03T04:44:49","slug":"free-workshops-from-the-jisc-e-learning-programme-on-developing-digital-literacie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.northampton.ac.uk\/learntech\/2011\/05\/03\/free-workshops-from-the-jisc-e-learning-programme-on-developing-digital-literacie\/","title":{"rendered":"Free workshops from the JISC e-Learning Programme on developing digital literacies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Developing Digital Literacies: A series of national  workshops on developing learners and learning organisations for the 21st  Century<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A series of free workshops from the JISC e-Learning  Programme<strong> on developing digital literacies <\/strong>will take place during May \u2013  October 2011<strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The workshops will be held on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>26 May 2011, Goodenough College in London (in partnership  with RSC London and RSC Eastern)<br \/>\n23 June, Maple House in Birmingham<br \/>\n22  September, The Studio in Manchester<br \/>\n6 October, The Bristol Hotel in  Bristol<\/p>\n<p>These workshops will offer the latest in organisational  thinking and educational development around digital literacies. Participants  will hear the outcomes of recent JISC-funded activity in this area and be given  the chance to share their own experiences through structured activities. Proven  resources in support of staff and curriculum development and institutional  change will be available to download, adapt and use in participants&#8217; own  contexts of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The workshops will be suitable for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Educational professionals with an interest in and  responsibility for digital literacy.
